I don’t feel like I’ve been growing as a musician lately. Partially, I don’t get to jam with others often, and partially, I get stuck in my same old patterns. It’s a pretty common turning point in most artists progression, so I’ve come up with a solution.
Introducing Dain Saint: Crossover
Every other Sunday, for the forseeable future, I am taking remix requests in the form of “X in the style of Y”. This can be “Song in the style of genre”, “Song in the style of artist”, or “Song in the style of song.” If it’s a vocal track, I need to be able to get my hands on the acapella mix; other than that, it’s fair game. I’ll be taking submissions through tumblr’s “Ask” functionality. I want to do the first remix this coming Sunday, so head on over to http://dainsaint.com/ask and get me started!
Edit: Enabled anonymous questions so you don’t need to tumbl to submit a remix :)
